A brief overview of my work history
Contract Roles
Throughout my career, I've had the opportunity to work for a handful of Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 companies. Although these were contract roles, I gained immense experience working on these cross-functional teams as a technical writer or content strategist.

Full Time Roles
While attending the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, I worked as a journalist for the university's wire service and as a guest author for the school paper. Local newspapers would use my stories and publish them online and in their printed papers.

After graduating, I was able to transition my internship with Dexcomm Answering and Communications Services into a full-time Content Marketing Manager role. Here, I joined a small sales and marketing team, which allowed me to don various hats in the content marketing space, further expanding my knowledge and experience.
Freelance Roles
While my courses, internships, and roles taught me a great deal about journalism, content management, technical writing, and social media management, I wanted to learn more. To do so, I took on a few freelance roles to develop my writing within different industries. These freelance roles were with:
